Product Details

The CX-23 Olympus Microscope is a laboratory tool used to view specimens through brightfield and darkfield methods. It contains a stage focus mechanism that uses a coarse handle to move 15 mm - this movement allows the user to focus the image so that small details are visible. The stage moves manually when the user operates the controls with the right hand - those controls move the specimen 76 mm along the X axis and 30 mm along the Y axis. An LED lamp serves as the transmitted illuminator to provide light. It uses little electricity and produces a constant light so that the specimen is easy to see. The tube sits at an angle of 30 degrees - this position allows the user to look through the eyepieces without straining the neck or back during long periods of work. At a weight of 5.9 kg, the instrument is small and light. It is intended for use by students, technicians and scientists who work in laboratories or schools.
